What makes CRODER cranksets different from other brands?

CRODER is built around a Fit-First philosophy. While most brands offer only 3-4 standard lengths, we provide 9 crank length options ranging from 140mm to 172.5mm. This allows riders — especially petite cyclists, female riders, and triathletes — to find a precise fit that major brands simply don't offer. A shorter crank opens up your hip angle for better aerodynamic positioning and reduces joint strain. Our SPIRIT Modular Crankset also won the iF Design Award, combining precision engineering with proven performance.

How do I choose the right crank length?

Start with your height or inseam as a guide: By Height: Under 165 cm → 165 mm 165–175 cm → 170 mm 175–185 cm → 172.5 mm Over 185 cm → 175 mm By Inseam: Under 74 cm → 165 mm 74–81 cm → 170 mm 82–89 cm → 172.5 mm Over 89 cm → 175 mm These are starting points. Criterium racers and triathletes often go 2.5mm shorter for higher cadence. Mountain bikers may also prefer shorter cranks for ground clearance. For the best results, we recommend a professional bike fitting.

What is TUBE-LOCK technology?

TUBE-LOCK is CRODER's solution to press-fit bottom bracket noise. Traditional press-fit systems use two separate cups pushed into your frame. If the frame tolerances aren't perfect — even by 0.1mm — those cups can shift and creak under load. TUBE-LOCK eliminates this by threading both cups together inside your frame, creating a single integrated unit. This internal bracing doesn't rely on perfect frame tolerances. The movement stops, and the creaking stops — permanently.

Why do bottom brackets creak, and how does CRODER solve it?

Bottom bracket creaking usually comes from three sources: worn bearings, dry or dirty components, or — most commonly — press-fit movement. Press-fit BBs depend on an extremely tight fit. But if your frame's holes are even slightly off-spec, the cups shift microscopically under pedaling load, causing noise. CRODER solves this with three technologies: TUBE-LOCK structure connects both cups as a single unit, eliminating independent movement Layered Corner Technology reduces friction between the BB and your frame's shell Black-Oxide Ceramic Bearings with G5-grade ceramic balls minimize internal friction and improve durability The result: silent power transfer that lasts.
